IN HIGH SCHOOL: The 2010 and 2011 District 8AAA Kicker of the Year, Chris is a punter and placekicker who had an outstanding career at Columbia Central High School for coach Vance Belew. He helped the Lions win the 2010 TSSAA Class 5A state title in Tucker Stadium after a second place finish in 2009. Named first-team All-Mid-State, Chris was a four-year letterwinner on the football team and also added three lettered in soccer and one on the baseball team. As a senior, he was 7-for-8 in field goal tries and was 55-for-56 on PAT attempts. He averaged 37 yards per punt, and knocked 58 of his 72 kickoffs into the end zone for touchbacks. He wrapped up his career going 15-for-21 on field goals and 139 for 145 in PATs, with a 38.5 punting average.
